A gentleman of order, a philosopher of human nature, and a firm believer that even the wildest creatures need a little governance.

Dressed in the fashion of a bygone century, with Leviathan close at hand and a carefully sealed scroll in his grasp, Monsieur Blaireau has spent considerable time contemplating one rather uncomfortable question: what happens when everyone is left to their own devices?

Inspired by the ideas of Thomas Hobbes, he suspects that beneath our civilised manners lies something far less orderly. Without rules, without authority, and without someone to keep the peace, even the most respectable society might descend into a rather unpleasant state of affairs.

Fortunately, Monsieur Blaireau has a plan. And, as any proper philosopher would insist, it is all written down in his scroll.
