“Nothing is too small to be counted, and nothing worth keeping should be forgotten.”
Meet Monsieur Souris, Lore's meticulous little philosopher with the mind of an economist and the manners of a seventeenth-century gentleman.
Inspired by Adam Smith and the resourceful nature of mice, Monsieur Souris sees the world as an intricate system of exchanges, incentives, and carefully balanced fortunes. He observes what others overlook, saves what others discard, and believes that a little foresight can make all the difference.
His signature look is unmistakable: period-inspired gentleman's attire, a thoughtful expression, and a tiny book resting upon his spectacles, as though knowledge itself were too precious to put down.
Yet beneath his calculating nature lies a delightful contradiction. He can spend an entire afternoon contemplating the principles of wealth and human behaviour, only to hide a crumb away for a rainy day.
Is he a wise observer of human nature, a cautious collector of fortunes, or simply a mouse who knows better than to leave anything to chance?
Perhaps he is all three.
A character from Lore
Monsieur Souris is a tribute to curious minds, peculiar habits, and the small contradictions that make every character feel wonderfully alive. He reminds us that even the grandest ideas can begin with the smallest creatures.
For those who appreciate a little philosophy, a little mischief, and a world filled with stories worth discovering.
